Digitizer
Digitizer is an input device.
Digitizer is also known as Tablet or Graphics Tablet because it converts graphics and pictorial data into binary inputs.
A graphic tablet as digitizer is used for doing fine works of drawing and image manipulation applications.
A cursor (also called a puck) is similar to a mouse.
A pen (also called a stylus) looks like a simple ballpoint pen but uses an electronic head.
The tablet detect movement of the cursor or pen and translate the movements into digital signals that it sends to the computer.
For digitizing tablets, each point on the tablet represents a point on the display screen in a fixed manner.
The Output Is X-Y Coordinates When drawing or tracing on the tablet, a series of x-y coordinates (vector graphics) are created, either as a continuous stream of coordinates, or as end points.
